All the region-enriching-information was there, but as one of your avid readers I would've wanted to see this particular trail end into a bit more interaction with Underbelly denizens, perhaps Prewitt trying to seek refuge amongst some of the thugs he must've known or anything that would've not had him stumble into a clean execution. I enjoy Destron's observations a lot more than his "adventures", yet on this particular occassion, I felt it would've balanced an entry heavy in explanatory dialogue. I am sorry if I was unclear or seemed to analize your writing critically, I'm not in the position to do so, merely voicing a wish-list.Palestrinanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8564585184157117409.post-13560583459268581252010-03-28T16:38:38.068-07:002010-03-28T16:38:38.068-07:00Loved the story, the twist with Prewitt being Scou...Loved the story, the twist with Prewitt being Scourge and not even knowing it was awesome. The one part I didn't understand is why Varg killed him so quickly without looking for more answers. Did he feel that since Prewitt said he could hear the whispers in his head it was enough proof that he was Scourge? And wouldn't they be curious as to how the Scourge made him? You'll probably be clearing all this up in the next chapter so I really don't even need to post this though. ^_^

Oh, and I don't know if you ment to say Undercity or Underbelly in this part- "However, he could not take the risk of an Apothecarium or Scourge agent operating freely in the Undercity.'Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8564585184157117409.post-70993240900962952372010-03-28T12:37:35.739-07:002010-03-28T12:37:35.739-07:00Thanks. I actually didn't shorten this one at all, and managed to write pretty much everything I could think of regarding the Underbelly.Destronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08880259350300667791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8564585184157117409.post-26301709219861676922010-03-28T02:56:42.845-07:002010-03-28T02:56:42.845-07:00Destron, it was well written, but more importantly...Destron, it was well written, but more importantly, well thought through plot-wise. I appreciated the long dialogues between Janson and Destron, and later with Prewitt himself, looking to tie in any loose ends and give solid plausibility to the story. Suspicion and fear were there and well illustrated. And you've really enriched the whole Sewers space yet again for the player, nevermind the few off-shoot notes in regards to transitional periods (i.e. bringing about your conjectures in regards to conjurers again and the description of the impact of contraband -- I loved it, always felt it was an issue that was ignored completely; societies dealing with the plethora of "unusual" items Azeroth is flooded with that is).

Felt you limited yourself again, trying to keep to the travelogue's short format by the by. The Sewers description and its factions made me think of Cloaca Maxima crossed with ancient Rome's outskirts with its thugs, slaves, liberti and gladiators, moreso in the last part. Would've wished more narrative there, to have cut yourself loose in fleshing out more twists and detail, it always fell so well within your purview in the past.Palestrinanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8564585184157117409.post-7302813823129616462010-03-27T14:07:36.558-07:002010-03-27T14:07:36.558-07:00Great storryGreat storryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
